This tour introduces visitors to Yesenin’s life and work, highlighting the whole of Yesenin’s career as a poet. Includes the Moscow period (1912 – 1915), St. Petersburg period (1915 – 1918), Yesenin’s collaboration with the imagists (1918 – 1921), as well as the poet’s ‘Boldino autumn’ – the Caucasian work period.
Visitors can see the poet’s authentic belongings and photos, listen to Yesenin’s recitation and watch a rare documentary of the beginning of the 20th century.
The tour is given at 12.00, 14.30 and 16.30 on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays;
14.00 and 17.00 on Thursdays.
Not available on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Languages available: Russian, English and German.
