The Yesenin Cultural Center was opened in 2014 in new museum building, located at Klyazminskaya street, 21, bldg. 2. All the inhabitants of the Northern District of Moscow in the immediate vicinity will be able to spend their leisure time in an atmosphere of Yesenin’s poetry. It is planned to conduct various activities with the children, concerts, artistic evenings, as well as showing the unique museum exhibitions.
Exhibition “Feelings of childhood…: Yesenin and Rubtsov”
The exhibition presents household items and ethnographic relics from the museum’s funds related to the life of not only Sergei Yesenin, but also Nikolai Rubtsov, in many ways his successor, who absorbed the theme and rhetoric of his favorite poet. You will see household items that surrounded the poets since childhood, feel the atmosphere of their childhood and youth, feel the similarity of biographical and life attitudes.
