Along with “Uchitelskaya Gazeta”, the Yesenin Museum of Moscow is announcing a contest for students, grades 5 through 11, as well as for schoolteachers, NPO and SPO instructors, dedicated to the anniversary of Yesenin’s birth.
Criteria
For students:
An essay or poem on the subject of “My Yesenin.”
7000 characters maximum, including spacing.
An illustration (drawing, photo, collage, etc) to any work by S.A. Yesenin.
Max. 3 submissions per contestant.
For teachers and instructors:
An essay on the subject “Teaching Yesenin: An Image Without Myths and Cliches.”
A lesson plan or extracurricular activity dedicated to S.A. Yesenin.
Winners receive a one-day trip to Yesenin’s birthplace in Konstantinovo.
Contest submissions accepted from September 2014 to February 1st, 2015.
Winners will be announced June – October 2015.
